Broadcom NetXtreme-E Network Device Firmware and Configuration 21.4

This release provides updated network controller firmware and configuration
data for Broadcom NetXtreme-E devices. Applying this package may result in
some user-configurable options being reset to factory defaults. The
configuration updates are applicable only to adapters with SFP ports and
provide the following enhancements.

  - Ability to auto-detect SFP transceiver modules and link data rate.
  - Ability to link at 1Gbps using supported SFP+ to Base-T transceivers.

The configuration data supplied in the package can only be applied by executing
the included firmware DUP under Windows or Linux. Installation through the
iDRAC GUI, or Lifecycle Controller will not apply the configuration update.

Installation Instructions:

  - Windows
There are no special requirements for installation under Windows. Execute
the DUP from a command shell, or by double clicking it in Explorer, as
    usual.

  - Linux
    - With Out of Box bnxt_en driver version 1.8.23, or later:
There are no special requirements for installation. Execute the firmware
DUP from a command shell as usual.

    - For Out of Box bnxt_en driver versions earlier than 1.8.23 and all Inbox
      versions:
In order to apply the configuration data under Linux, in addition to the
standard bnxt_en driver, the bnxt_lfc driver supplied with this package
must also be loaded. Failure to load the bnxt_lfc driver prior to
executing the DUP will result in the configuration update being silently
skipped. With the bnxt_en and bnxt_lfc modules loaded, execute the
firmware DUP from a command shell as usual.

NOTE: bnxt_lfc version 214.0.131.0 is compatible only with bnxt_en
      version 1.6.10 and newer.
